If the chimney is dirty, it must be cleaned in order to be properly inspected. No one can "see through the creosote". Please obtain authorization for a cleaning before the appointment just in case it is needed.
If the chimney is not dirty, only the structural inspection will be done.
Inspection only (included in the cleaning charge)
Written structural inspection - referred to as a "20 point safety inspection".
Certification (in addition to the regular cleaning charge when necessary)
Written inspection certifying the condition of the wood burning system
